JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Marine Service Engineer
Reporting to: Service Manager, BRI Marine Service & Parts Singapore
Purpose and Scope:
- Development of the Marine Service Business to grow EBIT on service.
- Demand for high qualified service from our international customers
- Provide professional service on our own range of products
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out general repair jobs on refrigeration equipment onboard vessels.
- Commissioning of all types of refrigeration plants onboard vessels
- Troubleshoot on mechanical & electrical parts on refrigeration equipment onboard vessels
- Overhauling of various brands of screw & piston compressors.
- Develop a personal relationship to customer, and sell spare parts.
- Supervise sub-contractors during Refrigeration plant & HVAC installation jobs in shipyards -
- Preventive maintenance
- Deliver a high standard of workman ship, and to carry out service jobs in a professional way, that suits the customer's demands.
- Training of our local staff
- Take part in Refrigeration plant & HVAC installation jobs in shipyards
- Conduct retrofitting of old refrigeration plants onboard vessels.
- Conduct energy optimization on refrigeration plants onboard vessels
- Work at the office, perform duties pertaining to the development of the Marine Service Business
- Work at the office, preparation of sales quotations, meeting with customers, and supply of technical support.
- Ensure that the special tools are in a good condition

Educational Requirement: Diploma (Marine Engineering) or equivalent
Skilled as a refrigeration technician or Marine engineer
Experience Required: 4 years in the business
